Hi, I'm Sabina Lorkin and I'm a British photographer living with my family in Normandy, France since 2004.
I decided to set up my own photography & design business in 2008 in France when our youngest child was 18 months old, having studied photography and graphic design at college in the UK and having worked for three companies before moving to France.
Anibas = Sabina
And for those of you who hadn't noticed 'Anibas' is Sabina backwards. It was a nickname from my childhood that stuck and that I first thought of as the name for my business.
At first my small business developed with mainly graphic and website design (as this allowed me to work mostly from home) but back in 2011 I felt that I wanted to develop the photography part of my business and now, I'm very happy to say that most of my time is spent on photography and I love my work.
My working weeks, (well, often weekends too) are built around a wonderful variety of photography giving me the opportunity to meet and photograph people and capture locations and events for both private and commercial clients.
My business is now celebrating it's tenth birthday and I am still loving what I do and gaining immense satisfaction with interpreting my clients ideas and requirements and then providing them with everything they asked for and more.
