{ Destination Wedding Photographer in Normandy } It was a lovely warm and sunny June day when Noémie and Arthur got married. We spent much of the morning at the Petit Salon in Villedieu-les Poêles (Manche, Lower Normandy) where Noémie, her two bridesmaids and her mother had their hair and make-up done. It really was a fun time as they were all together and the ambience was great. Discover more photos of the bridal preparations here >
Afterwards they each got ready at their parents homes (which meant a quick dash of a few miles between the two homes). There were some great moments during the day, such as when the bridesmaids helped organise the guests with a mini megaphone, when Noémie's mother sang and played guitar to the couple, the throwing of the bridal bouquet, the 'photo-booth' and the lantern release later in the evening.
To be with a couple throughout their emotional day is what I love most about being a wedding photographer: to be there to capture all those moments and small details that might otherwise be missed.
