For the last wedding of the season here in Normandy I really loved capturing the unforgettable wedding day of Narina & Sam. The unique element to their marriage for me was that they're from New Zealand and they'd chosen an intimate wedding here in France near the holiday home of Narina's parents in the village of Le Neufbourg, near Mortain in Normandy. Narina and Sam live in London for the moment and therefore we weren't able to meet up before they arrived for their wedding, as I try to do with most couples. We'd organised everything by telephone and email to ensure that I knew what they were looking for and where they wanted to do their couple and group photos.
We finally met just a couple of days before their wedding when they'd arrived in Normandy. On the wedding day itself I was thrilled to meet other members of their families who warmly welcomed me and offered not one but two coffees during the morning's hair and make-up preparations, which was wonderfully kind of them.
