Commercial & Editorial Photography - Normandy - The Citadelle Restaurant - Granville
Earlier this summer I was again contacted by a Paris based communications agency to be commissioned to photograph another restaurant for a magazine. It was a wonderfully sunny day at the port of Granville in Normandy and it was a pleasure to meet Anne Desaint-Germain & Cyrille Doraphé. Their restaurant is perfectly positioned with a lovely view and terrace overlooking the port. I was asked to photograph head chef Cyrille at work with his team and to take portrait photos that could be used for the front cover. What I didn't expect was to experience Cyrille's passion for his work and his food and how warmly he welcomed me into his kitchen, not just showing me what he was doing but also inviting me to taste ingredients.
It was a lovely afternoon and his food looked and tasted delicious. I can't wait to return, but this time as a diner to really appreciate the wonderful seafood Cyrille, Anne and their team have to offer.
