I have lived in Normandy for more than 14 years but there is still so much to discover and do. I had never been to the Caen Christmas market before, so this Sunday I went to take some pictures and film a little bit of the Christmas atmosphere as the families went to see Father Christmas and bought gifts in the wooden chalets on Saint Sauveur Square.
The weather in Normandy was not very pleasant, but I hope you can see through my pictures that there was still a warm and friendly atmosphere.
I also took the opportunity to have a little fun with my photographs by capturing the Ferris wheel that many appreciated. I took traditional photos, but I also had fun making long-exposure images to capture the movement of the wheel and create such abstract images.
I hope you will enjoy the pictures and I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
